We had a successful food drive collecting about a dozen boxes of non-perishable food items for the Fallbrook Food Pantry  just prior to the start of our Sept 5th meeting.  Dale Mitchell, president of the Fallbrook Food Pantry board was our featured speaker and told us about the Pantry; it’s mission, their work, and goals.

 

 

Fallbrook Democrats voted to endorse Olga Diaz for County Board of Supervisors district 3  www.OlgaDiaz.com  The final vote was 95% for Olga Diaz, 5% for Terra Lawson Remer, and 0% for No Endorsement.

 

Our Political Action Chair, Rosalie Dedo reported on Voter Registration Plans.  Sept 24th is National Voter Registration Day.  Joining with our community groups, we will be at the Library, the High School, and in front of stores around town.  This will be the kickoff for a larger community effort to register 2,020 Fallbrook voters before the 2020 Calif. March Primary.

 

 

 

 

New member Paul Menth announced he is Precinct Captain for the DeLuz area.  He also told us about the Temecula Valley Democrats annual gala on Sept 21st.
